Data Export & Privacy Overview
CallOut WMS gives you full control over your data. You can export your information at any time, request a complete copy for compliance purposes, or delete your account entirely. This page explains your options and how your data is protected.
Exporting Data as CSV
You can export your core business data as CSV files, which can be opened in Excel, Google Sheets, or any other spreadsheet application. The following data types are available for export:
- Jobs — all your jobs with their details, statuses, dates, and assigned customers.
- Customers — your full customer list with names, contact details, and addresses.
- Invoices — all invoices with line items, totals, tax, payment status, and dates.
CSV download endpoints exist for Jobs, Customers, and Invoices but are not currently surfaced in the UI — contact support if you need access while we add buttons to the interface.
Full Data Export as JSON
For a full export of your data, you can run a JSON export from your Account Settings. The export includes your jobs, customers, invoices, and quotes, along with a basic team members list (name, email, phone, owner flag, created date) and core account settings (business name, billing email, phone, address, plan, and created date). Note that tenders are not currently included in the JSON export, even though they are removed when an account is deleted — we plan to close this gap.
This feature is provided for GDPR compliance and data portability. It ensures you can always obtain a complete copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
Only the account owner can run the full JSON export. Non-owner users won't see this option.
To run a full export:
- Go to Account Settings.
- Find the Data Export section.
- Click the export button to download a JSON file of your data immediately.
Deleting Your Account
If you no longer need CallOut WMS, you can permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action is irreversible.
Only the account owner can delete the account. Other users on the account do not have access to this option.
To delete your account:
- Go to Account Settings.
- Find the Delete Account section.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field to confirm you understand this action is permanent.
- Click the delete button.
Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
Our privacy policy and terms of service are available from the footer of the CallOut WMS marketing site. These documents explain:
- What data we collect and why.
- How your data is used and protected.
- Your rights regarding your data.
- Our obligations under applicable data protection regulations.
We encourage you to review these documents when you sign up and periodically thereafter.
Cookie Consent
CallOut WMS uses cookies to keep you logged in and to ensure the application functions correctly. When you first visit the site, you will be presented with a cookie consent notice. You can accept or manage your cookie preferences at that time.
The app itself uses only essential cookies for authentication and session management — no analytics or tracking cookies run inside the application. On our public marketing pages we use Google Analytics, which only loads if you click Accept all on the cookie banner. We do not use third-party advertising or remarketing cookies anywhere on the site. You can reset your cookie choice at any time from the Privacy Policy page.
How Your Data Is Stored
Your data is protected by several layers of security:
- Account isolation — your data is scoped to your account — queries from other accounts cannot return your records.
- Encryption in transit — all data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). This prevents anyone from intercepting your data as it travels over the internet.
